Akinsola Jimoh holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in
Insurance from the University of Lagos . He also has a
Masters Degree in Peace and Conflict studies from the
University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Akinsola is an associate
member of both the Chartered Insurance Institute of
Nigeria (CIIN) and the Nigerian Council of Registered
Insurance Brokers (NCRIB).
He started his professional career with J. Akin George & Co.
an incorporated Insurance Brokers and Pension Consultant
firm. He later drifted into the academic environment as an
Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Actuarial and
Insurance, University of Lagos .
He was Regional Director, West of UBA Insurance Company
Limited before joining Equity Assurance Plc as Assistant
General Manager. His core responsibility in the Business
Development Unit at Equity Assurance is in the area of oil &
gas and public sector risks.
Akinsola has over 13 years work experience. He is married
and blessed with children.
